In today’s ever-changing world and internet driven culture, acquiring and managing the most up-to-date information is critical to success. The same is true of the philanthropic world. In dynamic societies, charitable needs can change quickly and often require immediate adjustments.
CEJP’s greatest strength is our commitment to knowledge. It is our policy to meet with every Jewish or Israel based organization that requests a meeting. To date, we have met with hundreds of organizations and have amassed a library covering over 600 projects.
In addition, many of the larger foundations in the Jewish community, such as the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies, The Steinhardt Foundation for Jewish Life, the Avi Chai Foundation, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and the Jim Joseph Foundation are now funding sophisticated research that will help better understand audiences you may want to target, such as Jewish college students, twenty-somethings and interfaith families, as well as the programs you may wish to consider supporting like Birthright Israel, the Foundation for Jewish Camp and Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life. Accessing and utilizing this information is a vital part of CEJP’s approach to helping you make the most informed decisions.
But equally as important, CEJP has developed a network of peers around the world and staff in Israel who are prepared to share their knowledge, experience and connections with you. We are constantly in dialogue with the heads of the major Jewish foundations and attend most of the major Jewish conferences to reinforce and expand our network as well as further our knowledge. In this regard, when you work with CEJP you are leveraging our relationships in a way that provides you access to a very powerful, international network of funders and service providers.
